I felt it necessary to inform everyone through no small amount of coercion that I, Remus John Lupin, am a werewolf.

[15% Locked to Suki]

Are you alright?

Really?

Well that's pretty neat-o, I guess.

Really.

I'm actually very dangerous; and the transformation is quite messy.

Everyone is dangerous. Ever single living thing.

Some are just more obvious about how dangerous they are.

More dangerous than most of my friends. It's not so much the killing as the chance of spreading it through a bite. That's the dangerous part. So if you would stay away from Suite 26 around the full moon, that would be best.

[There's silence while James just... stares at that, mouth slightly agape]

She didn't. [His voice is dripping with something much like malice and pretty much utter hatred]

She did. [Remus is very nearly shaking where he's sitting at the desk, back bowed and shoulders hunched. His voice is paper-thin and trembling]

Fucking-- [James stares at him for a moment, then tosses the berry aside, getting up to just put a hand on Remus' shoulder]

REMUS! She made you do this didn't she? [Speaking of Val, of course. And that private part? yeah, Suki doesn't care about that right now. Remus's secret.]

[Remus turns on the video only because it's Suki and he looks awful, white and pale and shaking] Yes. She did. It was that or be slowly choked to death by a burning collar.

I'm coming over.

[And he isn't gonna stop her, because she's already heading to his room.]

Okay.

You didn't answer my question, you know.

I'm a fucking vampire. Whoopdifuckingdo. Congratulations. You're like an acquaintance of mine. She's a werewolf too.

I doubt people here really care if you are one or not. Or maybe they're just fucking retards who think that makes you something worth ostracizing even though this place is full of weirdos.

A vampire? Really.

...if that were the case, I would be very relieved. The attitude toward werewolves is vastly more discriminatory where I come from.

I usually don't tell random people because it isn't their fucking business, but I was told to go out and tell it or I'd just keep getting stabbed in the neck with these fucking collars. Now I'm just bleeding all over the fucking place.

Well, I don't know shit, but people are fine about it where I am. But this is only because I hang out with some crazy fuck who attracts weird shit, a zombie, a crazy fuck who's barely licensed to be a doctor and werewolf. My choices are pretty weird.

If you need medical attention you should tell someone; we've got wonderful healers in this place who've dealt with vampires before.

It sounds... wonderful, honestly. If a little strange. But I think anything is preferable to how we're treated at home.

If Val would let me I would say a sort of puppy that only appears on the full moon each month, but she won't.

A werewolf is a human who's been infected with lycanthropy, which turns them into a large, vicious beast for one night on the full moon each month. The condition is transferable by bite, incurable, and very dangerous.

It's really not cool for the people who could possibly catch it. And the transformation is quite painful.

But yes, the condition has inspired many horror stories.
