She did. [Remus is very nearly shaking where he's sitting at the desk, back bowed and shoulders hunched. His voice is paper-thin and trembling]

Fucking-- [James stares at him for a moment, then tosses the berry aside, getting up to just put a hand on Remus' shoulder]

[Remus doesn't say anything. There's nothing to say. What he's worked his entire life to keep a secret, what at home would get him chased out of Hogwarts and home for the rest of his life... everyone knows. It's terrifying; too terrifying to comprehend. Remus can't think about the concept of everyone knowing in its entirety: it's too big.

So he stays quiet, and tries not to shake too hard]
