I've caught my first cold of my stay in Japan. I figured if it was going to happen it would probably happen sometime during my three week concert extravaganza. I'm spending this afternoon relaxing. I was sick again earlier this week (100 degree fever, achy, coughing; the works). I went back to the health center and they told me that I had a bacterial infection that was most likely left over from the flu I had the other week. They gave me some antibiotics and I took a day and a half off from classes. ( Read more... )

So, my voice is pretty much gone; my throat is that sore. I went to the campus health center this morning and they told me that I have the flu, even though I haven't been sick to my stomach. Aw, shit. I think I'm coming down with a cold. It's that, or I caught strep throat from Adam.

My nose has been running like a faucet all day. This is gross.

So, the inevitable has happened. I have caught a cold. It is like a rule that I have to catch at least one cold every winter. At least this one's not really bad. I'm just snuffly and my throat is scratchy. It's making me tired though. I'd like to take a nap.
