Yesterday, I met up withimmelmanturn downtown. She had obtained free passes to an advanced screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Yesterday was a fun time. DJ and I went to Market Days, up in Boystown. There was all sorts of food, drink, music, and various other forms of entertainment there. Yesterday, I went downtown with Allison, Alyssa, and Meghan. We went to hang out with Elise at her new apartment. In the afternoon, all of us went to the Taste of Chicago. This past weekend was so much fun! Saturday was prom, but I didn't go. Instead I spent the day in Chicago with my friends. We took the train downtown. First we grabbed some lunch at Jamba Juice (it was a Jamba emergency). I'd never been there before and I found out that their smoothies are the greatest. I was in downtown Chicago yesterday. Mom's friend Carolyn took me. We went to the Art Institute, because I had never been there before. So much beautiful art! I thought it was amazing to see the paintings and sculptures up close. My favorite pieces of art were the ones from Monet's Waterlilies series.
