super drug may be working?

Talked to my mother last night and she says that my dad is now awake, "talking" (he's trached again, so he mouths words) and whatnot. She sounded very down cause he was saying more "wacky" things and also was really needy. Had to poke her on that one and point out that he hadn't been well enough to talk at all for 4-6 days, that she should be thrilled. She never looks on the bright side of anything that happens to him -- that worries me so much. :/ She constantly focuses on the negative. Maybe its a defensive mechanism, but, its getting everyone else down, including my dad (poor man can't really talk with a tube down his throat but he can still roll his eyes with the best of them).

I have a nice green visitor staying with me til mid-day today. He says "Helloooo" in this sad sorta voice... kinda pathetic and melancholy sounding. That's just his voice though; he seems happy enough, giving kisses and the like. He's really placid... maybe he's not a "morning person." ;) Just put him on the playstand (that thing so great to have for the fosters!) and he seems a lot happier there.
