Planned and almost executed a secret plan to spirit away the boyfriend for the afternoon to Bribie Island and spend some quality time. Was thwarted by northbound traffic however so we just ended up driving back to the dam near our house and having a little picnic there.

I have been to a lot of ute and car shows recently. I have taken a few (very bad mobile phone) piccies of the impressive ones, mostly of the airbrushing because I think it's cool when a car has a theme. Some are pretty cheesy though.

Had a huge weekend. Had Friday off for Australia Day and generally did nothing - stayed over at Flyboy's (after work drinks, which were non-eventful) and generally lazed around for most of the day.
