Halloween was very low-key but also very nice. I went to watch my brother's elementary school costume parade, a tradition upheld by every grade school in the area. Aside from one very cute astronaut, I think my favorite costumes were a pair of twins dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss, and two youger boys dressed as a bottle of mustard and an ipod (which was really cute).
Later I donned a witch's hat to answer the door for all of the very cute trick-or-treaters. Though I thought I was just getting into the spirit, I actually had one child dart away from the door after yelling "Witch!". Then I happily spent the next few hours alternating between three different movies that had the word dead in the title.
Oh, and lastly (on a small and random note), I would just like to quickly advise that any skin-care and make-up questions be directed to one Miss Ashley Swift, who recently provided me with a product suggestion that started working immediately. Gracias, chica.
