Did anyone else have incredibly fantastic and descriptive dreams last night? Even more so than usual? It's not fair. How come I always get stuck with the crazy and amazing ones? Can't I for once, rather than travel through dimensions and fly, just spend a perfectly nice hour or two lying on a very hot beach with a very hot man? I'm not picky. Sure, Christian Bale would be preferable, but as long as he had Ryan Reynold's body, I'd be happy.
Well, a quick update. I still haven't heard about that one temp job, the one that would start this week and finish around the end of the year. Either way, I'm not really worried. The money would be nice, but so is the ability to just hang around my house, doing what I want all day long. It's funny, but I can't remember the last time I had a period of listless downtime. Perhaps before college. Ever since I made the move to Maryland, my life has consisted of work or class, often at the same time. If nothing else, I have always been involved in something that required constant movement. This is kinda nice.
Yay Halloween!!!!! Yay! It's funny, I never really care about this holiday, but this year has been totally different. My brother and I put tacky Halloween lights (they blink!) outside the house, yesterday we carved a pumpkin, and the day before that I took him to find a costume (astronaut....how cute is that?). Plus, I never get tired of all the wonderful horror movies and cheesy ghost shows that are now on every tv station (does it get any better than the celebrity paranormal show?).
So, for right now, I'm hanging out and enjoying the festivities. In the coming weeks I will be making at least one trip into Delaware to visit Lisa, touring New York with a certain Brit for a few days, and hopefully figuring out a good Maryland visit weekend. If I'm really lucky, I won't miss out on yummy Thai goodness. Mmmmmmm....Thai food...
