a) Doctor/Rose! I will follow my own rules and not list three different iterations of Doctor/Rose. But everything else is a very very distant second and third tbh.

b) Rose/Mickey. I don't think they had the greatest relationship in the universe or that it was a Great Love foiled by the Doctor, but I did think they had moments of cuteness in a young dumb teenage way.

c) HMMMMMMM. I'll go with Rose/Martha for a couple reasons, the first being that there aren't really any remaining people Rose interacted with at length that I'd ship her with, and the second being that of the Whoniverse ladies I think Martha is the most like the Doctor so that kind of works, right?, but the third and possibly most important being that it would be hot and one step closer to the Billie Piper/Freema Agyeman lesbian buddy comedy firstofoct and I dream of.

Casanova is a good palate cleanser, nice choice. Like a good DT stan, I have watched it multiple times. It excels as a "I am home with the flu" viewing experience.

IKR most of my Toby Whithouse excitement was extinguished by Chris Chibnall. So far Whithouse is the only writer they have lined up who excites me in any way. Can we get a lock on Gareth Roberts plz? He is the only other regular who has yet to disappoint me. On the bright side I just remembered the no two-parters rule means Chibnall won't have a two-parter. SMALL MERCIES.

It had been quite a while since I'd seen it so I was a little worried my memory was skewed but nope it was appropriately awesome.

LOL GOT. When are we planning to do that? Doesn't the next season start at the beginning of April?

I'm excited for a new companion but a bit worried it'll be a dude. I'm also not sure what to make of the "last place he'd expect" bit. Please god no more Time Lords, but beyond that I can't think of anything I would object to.

I would prefer a male companion to be under 18 (because Matt Smith is adorable with little kids) or part of a visible minority group (ie. someone who wasn't white or was part of the GLBT community).

I just want the fucking Skittles Daleks to still be on vacation.

That's true, it would lessen my irritation at a male companion if it at least wasn't a straight white cis dude. I still would prefer a lady on board though. MAYBE EVEN A LADY WHO IS ALSO PART OF SOME MINORITY GROUP? :O lol Though I must say as adorable as Matt is with kids, I would side-eye the Doctor pretty hard if the companion was that young. I think youngest I could do would be about 17.

The skittle Daleks are awful. I get that they wanted them taller because Karen Gillan is a giant but they're so bulky and weird.

I think I still prefer Chibnall to Moffat, because he managed to write at least 1 or two episodes I genuinely love in s2 of TW (the flashback epp, Fragments I think? The Ianto retcons aside...and I think another epp), whereas I can't think of a Moffat epp I genuinely love, really...:s

If they've begun filming, when are they going to need to cast the new companion, I wonder?

And for characters, um, Harry.

Moffat has actually written episodes I genuinely like. I love "Eleventh Hour" still -- it's my favourite of his -- and I think "The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang" are pretty good as episodes go. "Blink" is great even if it doesn't have a rewatchability to it. Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone are a bit dumb but not terrible, and The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances would be great if not for Rose. Chibnall on the other hand struck out with me entirely.

It must be soon! I guess it depends how much Karen and Arthur are in this season.

LOL HARRY. UMMMMMMM.

a) Harry/Ginny was fine by me tbh
b) Harry/Luna would also have been cute, I think Luna would've been pretty good at dealing with his moodiness and lightening him up.
c) Maybe Harry/Ron? Guy love between two guys. He's definitely fonder of Ron than he is of most people. And Ginny is a lot like Ron so.. lol

I guess that's true (I did enjoy Blink and the s1 epps more the first time at least), though lol for me the s5 Angels 2-parter was just as bad as 42 or the earth epps, with all that interminable wandering around (like, we get it already, they're walking around creeped out, can we skip to some plot?), and then the retcons, etc...
