I thought of you when I read the writer announcements. I too was like "Toby Whithouse! :D :D :D Chris Chibnall. So we meet again. :-|"

Casanova is a good palate cleanser, nice choice. Like a good DT stan, I have watched it multiple times. It excels as a "I am home with the flu" viewing experience.

YES FANDOM IS BORING BUT GAME OF THRONES STARTS SOON AND ME AND HANNAH ARE GOING TO MAKE YOU REWATCH IT WITH US. WINTER IS COMING, KALI

IKR most of my Toby Whithouse excitement was extinguished by Chris Chibnall. So far Whithouse is the only writer they have lined up who excites me in any way. Can we get a lock on Gareth Roberts plz? He is the only other regular who has yet to disappoint me. On the bright side I just remembered the no two-parters rule means Chibnall won't have a two-parter. SMALL MERCIES.

It had been quite a while since I'd seen it so I was a little worried my memory was skewed but nope it was appropriately awesome.

LOL GOT. When are we planning to do that? Doesn't the next season start at the beginning of April?

Lol the vampire fish episode didn't disappoint you then, re: Whithouse? :p

Where Whithouse is concerned for me he's still on major notice for how he's handled Being Human...:/

Heh well that's fair, in terms of writing then...it does give me pause though in terms of him being a possible future showrunner for DW, what happened on BH. Just like IDK if I'd want Howard Overman as a showrunner after the last 2 seasons of Misfits...O_o. Though I guess TW would prob be better than most other options.

But I think that the first two series of BH were really strong, so idk. I think Toby Whithouse could at least give us a couple of solid series.

IDK, I wouldn't call season 2 "really strong" myself, in many ways I thought season 3 was strong, except for then the total mess of an end and character problems...*shrug* Either way it all went a bit downhill from season 1, it seems to me (and that is the consensus among many I've seen).

LOL HOWARD OVERMAN HAS NEVER OCCURED TO ME BUT NOW IT IS HILARIOUS. I guess he is probably capable of writing something other than Misfits but I can't help imagining a Misfits-style season of Doctor Who.
