It was once said; tell the person you love that you love the everyday, make sure of this as you will never know when you will see them again, make sure that they know they are special, if only to you and always will be, make sure that you never let a day pass were you said, i will do it tomorrow, for we all know that tomorrow never comes at it is ( Read more... )

hehe, sumerians, babilonions, its all good...

and yeah, thoes people who are often taged a 'special' 'geniouses' it is irnoic, i mean, people omplain that they dont have the mental power of enstine, it is true that many people are npot able to get to his level, it is proven that his brain developed more than a 'normal' (memories of our converation) humans mind, he was one of thoes people who over achaived his potential, classed by many, which in truth is false, as he achaived what he could, he did to the best of the abiliotes he had, it is irrelvent that he was able to achaive on a higer level than most of us. It is the turth with us all, seriously, say if we read one more book a day, or stuided for that extra hour, we would improve and the better our potential, if insteed of sitting infront of a tv all day, we ventured outside, yes tehre is an ouitside, we too could not only better our minds but also our bodies, we as humans were not designed to be perfect in every aspect. I mean, we will never run as fast as a cheeta, we will never swim as fast as a dolphin, but the shear fact that we can both run and swim, shows that we have potential, and if we acknowledge this we are able to do great things, as a race, as a species our stay as domintinet, or for that matter a species may be very shortlived, but in retro spec, out own life is short, so why then do we not make the most oiut of what we have.
i mean look at yourself, you have the potential for gretaness, and you can and will realise it...

and heres the irony.... because humans think, we can go faster that both a cheeter AND a dolphin (cars/planes + boats)... makes you think, huh?

also, aspiration and that.. like most of the famous people (da vinci/edison/einstein) didnt have the greatest chances but they won anyway... da vinci actually started his career forging ancient roman statues to make some money, and both edison AND einstein failed school. Also, einstein's brain was smaller than yours or mine.

well yes i mena we all know that we can invent special things that can do what is unimaginable, yet that isnt exactly what i was aiming at..but yeha that is a special trait that we seem to have perfected, chips, otters and a bundle of other animals use tools, but none to the extent that we have, i will direct you attention to 'goodbye and thanks for all the fish', i know someone will get that.

Yeah, i mean we all know that estine was dunce more than once...a day, and yes, but the had drive and it is seen by there work, and yeah estines barin is one that hold many mystries, it had more nuro-connecters than even stephen hawkings, although with his ms and all, that may account for something, but yeah it is amazing to look into and all

Yeah.. also the term "dunce" is misappropriated; it came from John Scott Duns, who was one of the greatest thinkers of the middle ages. Unfortunately, the church disagreed.. so there you go.

Just shows how obsessed the church is with itself. I remember the case of Jan Hus (from whom the term "Hussite" sprang) who criticized the way the church was run, saying they deviated from the basic principles of Christianity and that the priests were taking the money the church earned for the poor (and spent it on drinking), etc. Burnt at the stake. Go figure.

As to man being able to go faster than cheetahs because he has a brain...well, he can, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he is in any way better than a cheetah. If you picked up a man (somewhat the way you do in Zoo Tycoon) from the 21st century and put him into, say, the Jurassic, I think you'd find he'd have a hard time staying alive (well there were no computers in the Jurassic so how could he). I think, in this case, the cheetah may have a better chance of survival because it is less evolved and therefore closer to nature. Otherwise, think of all the poverty, all the wars, all the hopelessness in the world. Just because man has a brain doesn't mean he is at all smarter in these things than your average chimpanzee.

BUT man - in good circumstances - can be brought to be a person of high humanity and noble being. It just depends on the circumstances. Every human has potential; just most of us never have that potential brought out and worked on.

so true, and by all means i wasnt meaning it that we are better than anything, just mixed ideals, it was a slightly more pesemistic post i think.

We can all do wonderful, great things if and when we set our mind to it, every person has a gift, we just open them at differnt times...so later, some even never do open there true gift, but all of us can do great thinsg
