After I finished distracting Connor from what I could only assume was much needed research, I kind of wandered the library aimlessly for a while before ending up in the occult section. My sister would just love that. She freaked out every time I so much as glanced at Willow and Tara's magick books curiously

Landon laughed a little, fighting to keep his balance as he did so. He was carrying a stack of books that looked to be dangerously high, threatening to topple over and hit the ground at any second. Somehow, he managed to right himself and shift his weight, keeping every book in place as he stumbled towards a nearby table, setting the whole stack down on the corner before dusting himself off.
"Hey, it's okay," he said, grinning. He was curiously cheerful for someone who had nearly been run over by a fellow library patron. He quickly ran a hand through his hair, taking a good look at his attacker. She was smaller than he first guessed. She'd hit him hard, packing a pretty powerful (if accidental) punch. "It's my fault, too... I wasn't exactly keeping an eye out or anything. Are you alright?"

Great, just great, prove even further to the gorgeous guy you just crashed into that you're among the world's biggest klutzes. Good call, Dawn. I should know better than to speak without filtering it around people I don't know by now, right? Maybe he didn't notice? I can hope.
"What I mean is, yeah, I'm okay, really. Not a big deal. We both remained standing, so it's not like there could be any really serious damage done, right?" I smiled, hoping he'd forgive my obvious lack of social skills at the moment, as I leaned slightly against the table he'd dropped all his books on. "My name's Dawn." I added.

"I'm Landon," he told her, offering her his hand without a second thought. He was still smiling, obviously unphased by the incident. "Hey, everyone came out alive, it's not a big deal. Nothin' hurt but my dignity, and that'll patch itself up soon enough. Someday I'll learn to walk like a normal person. Until then, I'll probably just keep crashing into things. I'm not so great with the paying attention myself, you see. Usually got something more important on the brain," he explained, tapping the side of his head twice in rapid succession.
He looked over to the nearest bookshelf. They were still in the occult section, and one of the more grisly aisles at that. He looked to her and raised a brow. "So, what brings a girl like you all the way over here? Most girls I know avoid this kind of stuff like the plague. They think it's creepy." He smirked. "You're into all the creepies and crawlies, is that it?"
