After I finished distracting Connor from what I could only assume was much needed research, I kind of wandered the library aimlessly for a while before ending up in the occult section. My sister would just love that. She freaked out every time I so much as glanced at Willow and Tara's magick books curiously.
I'm really not sure what the huge deal is, honestly. It's not like I'm going to mess with things I don't understand. I grew up in Sunnydale. I'm not that oblivious to the dangers of messing around with forces more powerful than the majority of people.
Whatever, Buffy's not here now right? So I shouldn't let that stop me from simply flipping through some books to pass time. I wandered down the aisle, scanning the titles as I went, so focused on the books that everything around me sort of faded into the background.
Next thing I know, I've managed to crash right into some completely innocent bystander.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" I appologise quickly, my words bluring together in my hurry to get them out, before I actually look up to see who it was I blindly smacked into, and find probably one of the hottest guys I've ever had the pleasure to lay eyes right in front of me. "I wasn't watching where I was going..." I added, almost slowly, sure I sounded slightly dazed this time.
(open for Landon of course)
