(no subject)
Two things.
First, does anyone know of a guy in need (homeless, house burned down, etc) that could use clothes, pants size 40x32..some 40x34's and shirts size L and XL.
I know my dad would want someone who REALLY needs them to have them.
I can't seem to find a homeless shelter and I'm trying to use a church or salvation army as a last resort because not everyone who goes through those are really in need, its mean to say, but true.
Or if you just know of shelter, please let me know.
No rush, as I don't know when we'll actually be able to go through his things(too emotional/hurtful)... but it would be nice to know for when we do.
Secondly, my dad collected pop can tabs ever since he heard someone talking about how they can be donated to charity. He has given a lot and yet we have still found two or three bags full at home that he had stashed away. I want to know if anyone who drinks lots of soda would like to save those for me... I want to continue that for him and donate them to Shriners or St. Jude's or both, depending on how much I can actually collect.
One month today since I actually got to see my father alive and happy... he turned 55 one month ago today.
I went to sleep very upset last night and had a dream that I called my mom because I missed dad so much and dad answered the phone and told me that me, sis, and mom needed to stop all of our worrying and crying. that he was fine. that he wanted us to suck it up and be strong for him because he was okay.
I believe with everything in me, that was really dad letting me know he is okay.
I really do.
