tom cruise is so fucking funny in this movie i literally shouted with laughter. i don't know if it was with true mirth or just surprise.

Before we left on this trip, MaryAnne said she wanted to re-read Pride & Prejudice while in Europe. I knew she had read it several times before (plus we used to watch that entire 6 hour Colin Firth version every weekend), so instead I bought her all of Austen's other novels. parts of this song made my vocal chords vibrate even though i wasn't singing. there was a little buzzing in my throat that i could both hear and feel.

If you haven't listened to Breathe Me by Sia, you must! Then you must go watch the entire series of Six Feet Under (this song is featured in the last episode) so it can bring you to tears every time you listen to it, if it doesn't already.

Why is it that music and movies and books can so easily elicit such powerful emotions that I so rarely feel in real life?
