Christmas
So what started off as a really crappy christmas turned into an awesome one. Well my father and Aaron weren't even home until kinda late christmas eve, so it's not like we coulda celebrated then anyways. But we usually celebrated christmas on christmas eve with my grandparents. But this year they are both quite ill. My grandpa can't really walk anymore, he keeps falling at work, but he's a bit stubborn. Anyway, I don't want to get into that. My grandma can't see anymore (macular degeneration) and now she has a nasty case of the flu, so none of them coulda done anything really, let alone get a tree. And my mom had spent like all her time with them so she had no time to go shopping or anything.
Well, I mean I wasn't gonna complain or anything, but I was really upset about not having any christmas. So i woke up christmas morning and I was feeling a bit sad cuz, well, it was christmas and while everybody else was celebrating i was sitting alone on my computer.
So then Kristen called and invited all of us over so 4 of us went (- aaron cuz he couldn't care less) and Mr. Seikaly made the most amazing dinner. Jen came over and we played cranium (we lost miserably). Then we opened gifts and I got a present (i was really surprised cuz they called us at like 3:00 and dinner was at 5:00, so I dunno how the heck they did it). It was a stuffed moose =). So that made me quite happy. Then everybody played trivial pursuit pop culture and it was kids against adults and the kids won (thanks to Jen's knowledge of old movies and such), and haha, I got a question about Joe Louis cuz it was like "Which heavy weight was buried at Arlington?" and for some reason I remembered visiting his grave.
Anyway, my point of that rambling was that I really did have a great christmas despite the fact that it looked like it was going to suck because of my great friends :)
