Working this late at night is easier with fun, upbeat music -- especially if that music is primarily kids' TV theme songs from the 80s and 90s.

The work may not get done as quickly if I'm dancing in my chair, but at least I'm not bored and frustrated with all the stuff I need to do right now.

All my grades from this past term are posted and I got an A+ in all of them!!  :D

This was by far my best academic term ever.   (But it also goes to show that Education courses are damned easy.  I now consider a 6-page paper "long".)

Aaarrrrgh!! I just finished typing this brilliant (but a bit long) reflection and question for my English course on Web CT, and the internet ate it. Knew I should have copied it before hiting "post." I'm sure this is old news to most, but it's new to me.

The new Harry Potter movie's cast and Umbridge will be played by Imelda Staunton. I've never seen her work before, but she did the voice of Bunty in Chicken Run. I approve of anyone involved in that movie, but I think her voice (at least Bunty's voice) was too deep for Umbridge. But, even ( Read more... )

Survived yesterday and today's lesson. My voice has returned a bit, but if I use it too much, I end up in a horrible coughing fit. If I was a heroine in a Victorian drama, my coughing fits would certainly forshadow my ultimate and tragic demise. But, I think in this era, it's just irritating. Or bird flu ( Read more... )

French thing is done and sent off to my prof! And it's before midnight! This is a brand new thing for me. I don't think I've finished an assignment before two in the morning for years.

I feel... empty. Now I have nothing to do but watch Simpsons and knit.

I could get used to this.
