I am so smart! S-M-R-T

All my grades from this past term are posted and I got an A+ in all of them!!  :D

This was by far my best academic term ever.   (But it also goes to show that Education courses are damned easy.  I now consider a 6-page paper "long".)

Awesome job! And don't deny yourself credit where credit is due. :) This term will make a very pretty addition to your transcript.

I think it will look rather nice. But there are rumours flying around the department that if someone's marks are too high, divisions won't want them because it looks like they have no life and no extra-curriculuar involvement. I'm hoping that's just a rumour.

I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in a rumour like that-- it was probably started by a student with less than perfect marks to make his/herself feel better about their lack of keen/work ethic. Besides, any interviewer worth their credentials would easily be able to figure out if a potential candidate was a shut-in, or someone who just genuinely cares about their academic career-- without even looking at a transcript. And really, what kind of division would look for teachers that didn't do the best they could in the courses that are designed to prepare them as educators?
I don't think you have anything to worry about. :)

That's what I'd hope, but not everything in Education is as logical as it should be...

But, thanks! I think you're right. :)

Yay! Good job. (Though - that seems like an overly long time to wait to post the grades)

It really was a long wait. Think the prof who had to mark over 100 papers and wanted to give us valuable feedback held things up a bit. But, I guess it was worth the wait. :)

I guess Education must have different rules than other faculties, because I'm pretty sure that in Science, marks have to be in (to Student Records) no later than 3 days after the end of term, or soemthing like that.

Yeah, we were all a bit annoyed at how late the marks were coming in. Seems like it broke the normal university rules, but I'm not sure. *shrugs* Just as long as the marks get to the appropriate people in time for me to graduate & get certified, that's all I'm really worried about.
