Since it's supposed to be 60 on Saturday, I think I might take Bailey and go down to Centennial Park. Mostly because I've never been there. Plus, I love how we get little peeks of spring in late January into February down here. Back home we would be lucky if it got above freezing at all before March. Last night I went shopping to try to find a new winter coat. The one I had was missing a button and everytime it was windy if the wind found its way in it would freeze the liner so I'd be wrapped in cold. Which sucked. I got a great deal at Old Navy on a pretty long wool coat which is also lined in wool so that won't be a problem. It's also too ( Read more... )

We were about to go to bed only to find that the dogs had found a bed time snack. A sweet potato. When my parents were here my mother left some. Apparently keeping sweet potatos in a paper bag on a shelf wasn't such a good idea.

Last night I was coming from the bathroom into the living room and Dorian ran up to me. I stamped my feet at him, which always riles him up. Then I started rubbing his back to calm him down some. When I stopped he turned to me, stuck his head between my legs, then sat down propelling me forward a few steps. Weirdo.

I have no idea what's gotten into Dorian lately. Maybe just because it's summer he's in love with the outdoors and the weather and just wants to be in it all the time. Whatever it is, he will not stay in past 3:30AM any more. Yesterday it was 2:30. Just in my face, everyday without fail until I stumble to the back door and let him out. This is ( Read more... )

We took the dogs to the Centennial Dog Park today. Dorian had fun. Bailey had a little fun. She would snap and snarl at any dog that trie to sniff her "area" so she was kept on the leash most of the time.
