So, I took...well, a lot of people's advice and watched me some Gilmore Girls. And you guys were right, it felt like the Lorelai of old and I'm so glad I didn't have to have my last memories of her be the season 6 version.
And it is pretty much all about Lorelai. While I still like Luke/Lorelai, I'm not very invested anymore. I actually cried when Lorelai was singing to him, but it was all about her, not them. I still love them in late season 4/early season 5, though.
I can't believe I'm saying this after not even giving the show any thought at all this season, but I'm really looking forward to the finale.
There was also The Office. Oh Pam. So much love. My first thought when I'd finished watching was "I don't have enough Pam icons". Of course, I'm not sure that there's a chance it'll ever be enough since right now I pretty much want them ALL to be Pam icons. And then I couldn't even use any of the new ones I made for this entry because they're spoilery. ARGH!
Speaking of icons, I've been making a whole bunch of them from this episode. I think my favorite is this one:
Hee! It actually looks like it could be from Survivor!
And speaking of making icons, I needed caps for it, so I capped the episode - along with nine (9!) others last night. At least if you count A Benihana Christmas as two episodes. Which I do.
If this is what they do for the penultimate episode of the season, I can't wait for the finale (less than a week away, yay!)
How about that Shear Genius show? It just gets better and better every week. And Tabatha now has my undying devotion for introducing the word figjam into my vocabulary (short for: fuck I'm good, just ask me, in case you're wondering).
While I wanted Daisy to win for her Victorian do, I'm okay with Tyler winning - especially if the curse of the wall holds for one more week.
My pick for final three at this point is Tabatha, Anthony and Daisy, with Tabatha winning.
Amazon is having a sale on first seasons of TV shows. I splurged and got four. Actually, I started out with five, but I found Dark Angel season 1 even cheaper with a Swedish online seller.
Since one of the box sets has a shipment date in four-six weeks none are going to be delivered before then, but I'm okay with that. Only two of them are shows I've never seen (Oz and The Closer), and I have a couple of shows on the shelf that I have yet to watch.
I am, however, considering splurging on My So-Called Life, which is being released tomorrow. Also, for you Supernatural fans, season 2 volume 1 is being released tomorrow as well (actually, I think they're being released on Tuesday, but Amazon is shipping them tomorrow). Yay, DVD caps for summer! If only they did that with The Office...
