I just wanted a little love...

Sooooo! Exciting Virtual Hogwarts-ness here in a thread involving Neville and some DEs. This is actually the best experience I've had with VH DEs in and out of character. Usually they are jerks and won't tell me what they plan for the thread, then tell me I did stuff wrong. UGH. But I had a nice long chat with the (totally not canon) Dark Lady and we worked through a few issues. Mostly the OOC rudeness I had dealt with in the past. This rp was much improved communication-wise though!
Yeah, I complain kinda a lot because well...I just want to know I'm loved sometimes, haha. I've been a HUGE Neville fan since forever and playing him is AWESOME. But I do a lot of behind the scenes work that no one sees (Sorting, grading, etc.), so it seems sometimes like being Nev is boring. I'm not in on all the plots with DEs (I don't always have the time...) and since I'm a canon character I feel weird getting into the staff romance stuff. (Because, really, it's about the students and canon-ness to me.) So when people were actually concerned about Nev possibly dying in that thread, I was like "oooh! They DO love me!!" and really happy. Haha.
Actually, since book seven I've been feeling much more of the Neville-love. Those Neville/Luna fanfics I posted almost have gotten more hits since the seventh book came out than they did in the entire year they were up before Deathly Hallows. I'm sure it's because Neville totally KICKED ASS in Deathly Hallows. Who chopped off the head of Voldemort's snake with the sword of Gryffindor?? NEVILLE DID.
Ahem. Also, VH is getting into the canon scene and taking applications for the children of Harry and the gang. Dude I want Rose or Lily soooo bad. On the one hand, I already play a canon character so I should give other people the chance. But on the other hand...I could do it so well! I really miss having a Gryffindor student as my alter. Sabelle is my Huffle char and she's just not...that...cool. I miss having a troublemaking little Gryffie alter. I haven't decided if I'm going to apply or not when the app for Rose or Lily comes up.
