time for another post...
I’m having baby-longing. maybe I’m insane. I don’t know. seventeen years old and my biological clock, which should totally be on the snooze button at LEAST (the thing should really not be anywhere near to going off, good grief!) is giving me the ol’ nudge-nudge. stupid thing. but there it is. I want a kid. not just a sweet lil baby to hold for like half an hour while his/her mom is busy. I know that kind of baby-longing and it’s not the same.
eh. I don’t know if you’d understand. I think it’s weird myself. I don’t know how to clean toilets and I’m scared of emailing college admissions people. how am I going to run my own house?? but there’s this little thing in the back of my head saying **you could do it if you tried**.
on another note: there is now officially another half-grown kitten taking up food and entertainment residence in our backyard. it’s a grey-striped tabby and is very fluffy. tony says that fluffiness is a sign of male or femaleness, viz. fluffy cats are female and smooth cats are male. I’m not sure if I agree with this because the mom calico cat isn’t very fluffy; she’s about at fluffy as her dark calico kitten-son (well we think he’s male), which isn’t fluffy at all. we don’t know where the fluffy grey kitten comes from, but she is very jumpy and playful, and she likes pouncing on my feet when I am walking. dark calico kitten-son is very sober for a kitten. I got him to be a little less skittish and aloof by putting one of my little jingle bells on the end of a length of pink ribbon. the mom calico and kitten-son liked it immensely, but fluffy grey kitten liked the feather tied to the end of a piece of yarn better. dark calico kitten-son is the only one who played with the bell when I wasn’t holding or bouncing it. no, they don’t have names, just descriptive titles.
well I’m getting morning sniffles again. I hate that. every school year, whenever I wake up my nose is full of ick. so I sneeze and sniffle and wipe my nose for nine hours afterwards. yuck.
