Last night I started reading my old entries, all the way back from 2002. It seems so distant. Like did I really live those things? Everything from high school drama, to first love and all the experiences with it, to memories of friends and my old house, its all one big blur. And I realized how lucky I am to have this journal to look back on because

i can't believe you're going to college. i remember when when we were having our "say what karaoke" contests at eachothers trailors... reanacting "lady marmalade"... locking vicky in the bathroom and feeding her jello under the door... vicky dropping a tampon down the sink... the boys "secret spot" ... all the magyar naps... all the days at the pool... and so many more that would take forever to write down.
i'm glad to say that you took part in making so many of my summers amazing. they will never be forgotten.
time goes by so fast. it's kind of sad.. but so exciting at the same time. i remember the summer when i was going into 7th grade and i was so anxious to start a new school, i couldn't stop talking about it. that summer you were going into 10th grade, now IM going into 10th grade... and you're starting college.
i hope you have a fabulous time at ithaca, and meet amazing people.

I just can't believe that things are happening for all of us. You are going to my school, soon to make it yours, and me leaving... :( I am so envious of you right now. Make Ithaca your new home - you will love it. Let me know what you are doing and make me feel like I'm still there, living on at Ithaca College. And yes, despite contrary belief, the big statue between muller faculty center and friends hall is a fish :) I know the guy who made it.
