Concert Rules

Ok, I went to a concert last night (Billy Talent) It was a great concert. Really fun! But...some people need to learn the un-written rules of concert going. And to help them...I...being someone who has been to countless concerts... shall write the rules.

1. If the concert is general admission and you manage to get to the front, people will be pushing and shoving. If you can't handle that, or you're going to complain about it the whole time, you might be better off sitting in the stands. Also, if you're like..4 foot nothing in height, it would probably be healthier for you to be in the stands...and then people around you wouldn't have to worry about you.

2. If you're a chick with long hair, put in up in a pony tail. No one wants your hair sticking to their sweaty bodies, and I'm sure you don't want people's sweat in your hair. But don't put it in a high pony tail. Then it just hits people in the face.

3. If it's your first time at a concert, I suggest you...hang to the back a bit, unless you're sure you can handle the pushing and shoving and moshing and crowd surfing. No one likes to be standing next to someone who's wriggling back and fourth trying to make their own personal space. It's just not gonna happen.

4. Don't bother trying to push you're way to the front if you showed up late. It just pisses off the people who waited in line to get a good show.

5. Crowd Surfing...now, I don't mind some crowd surfing. It's all part of a good concert...BUT! DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST SONG!! One of the most annoying things ever at concerts is being in the front row area...the last song comes on...then EVERYONE decides that it's time to try crowd surfing. The people at the front don't get a chance to even look at the band! There should be a no 'crowd surfing during the last song' rule.

6. Another crowd surfing rule...but not to the crowd surfers. If you're in the crowd and you see a crowd surfer coming DON'T DUCK DOWN!! God, that just makes it even harder for the people who are trying to keep that jerk up in the air! Besides, if everyone else around you ducks, chances are...that jerk is gonna fall on your head, and that fucking hurts!

7. Sometimes you just can't get a general admission ticket and you're stuck in the stands. It's a rock concert, freaking stand up! It's not an opera, or theater!! If you don't stand up, and the people in front of you do, tough luck. Looks like they're at the show to have fun and enjoy the show and you're not...and you can't see.

8. Remember...everyone is there to have fun and enjoy the show. Don't be an ass. Don't start shit with people.

That's all I can think of for now. If I come up with more, I'll edit this post.

Can you tell a few things at a few concerts have annoyed me before? lol
