They broke the kiss.
“Bam…” Ville said softly, “I had no idea…”
Bam smiled warmly and offered his hand to help Ville out of the chair. “Well, I had to see if you felt the same.”
Ville’s knees gave out after the first step; the situation had gotten to him, making him even more like butterfly-jelly than he had been when he woke up.
“Oops,” Bam said, as he caught Ville in his powerful arms. He guided the vocalist to the nearby couch, and held him close, threading his fingers through the long, dark curls.

After a while, Ville’s heart rate began to steady. And he calmed down. But he didn’t move from the couch, and he didn’t move from Bam’s arms. For once in his life he felt at home, safe and secure.
Bam removed his fingers from Ville’s hair and held him by the shoulders.
“How long have you liked me, Vil?” Bam asked, caressing Ville’s face.
“Roughly five months,” Ville replied, reaching up and holding onto Bam’s wrist. “Bammie? Are things ever going to be the same?”
Bam smiled, the sapphire eyes twinkling. “Things will be different, Vil. That I can promise you. Linde might have a thing or five to say about it.”
Ville snorted as he placed his head on Bam’s shoulder. “Let’s not worry about them until we have to.”
Bam nodded and wrapped his arms around Ville. For now, all that there was in the world was the two of them, curled up on the couch in front of a crackling fire.

“Bammie?” Ville asked.
“Yes?”
“When did you first start liking me?”
“Do you remember the day we met?”
Ville smiled, “how could I forget?”
Bam kissed the top of his head, “from the first moment we set eyes on each other, I knew, you were the one I wanted to spend my life with.”Ville smirked and put an arm around Bam’s waist. “Then never let me go.”
