How I spent my Saturday
At an estate auction, of course.
Ever been punched in the nose by a piece of furniture? I was picking up the footed silverware chest I bought to carry it through the crowd and the lid popped down and bopped me in the nose.
On another note, I really, really, wish the auctioneers around here would school themselves in even the most rudimentary characteristics of Duncan Phyfe. Because what is advertised as Duncan Phyfe, is more like "Dunkin Fife". Gah.
Either way, the silverware chest now has a second career as a holder for all my jewelry making stuff: Pics to come (back) as soon as I get my photohosting act together.
