Today there was cycling. 10 miles from Otley along the river past Ilkley (MOOR!!!) to Bolton Abbey. Not too much up and down though a couple of killer hills.
The views were once again fantastic (MOOOOOOOOR!!!) and I found that teeny lambs are much less likely to run away from the road when one passes on a bicycle. So Sweet!!!.
The grass is green, the hawthorn is well into leaf and all is good with the world.
I must say though, judging from the number of people that passed me going the other way, I may have been doing it the "wrong-way-round". Pshaw. I refuse to knowtow to pamphlets and pretty books. I has an OS map and I intend to use it! It's not an Etruscan Spear but I still know how to wield it pretty effectively.
