KANSAS CITY -- Another day in a non-descript office tower learning the ins and outs of sampling software.
I did learn why Chad gave me his digital camera; apparently, it doesn't read memory sticks anymore. And even worse, the Apple store at the Plaza doesn't sell those specific sticks.
But on the bright side:
*Lunch was at Kansas City's historic
Union Station, across the street from the
National WWI Museum. I ate at the Harvey House Diner, eating something called a Caboose -- your basic hamburger, but with melted peanut butter. Surprisingly, not bad.
*Dinner again was at the Plaza; this time Mexican, with a spinach (spinada) enchilada at
Baja 600.
*And apparently there's this totally drunk chick in 215, sobbing to her {sister? roommate?} on the way to the elevator, "Why aren't you drunk?" (She was obviously drunk enough for the both of them.)
