Day 4: Work/Day 1: Play

ED. NOTE: Written up last night. The last line tells why.

TROY AL -- Yay... I am now introductily proficient in ACL software usage.

However, that didn't make my plane leave on time; stormy weather in Atlanta stacked up a lot of incoming traffic, delaying our outbound flight by about 40 minutes. On the bright side -- not that I used it -- but I was on a Delta flight with WiFi available. (But troubleshooting the guy next to me, he kept calling it "Wee Fee".)

And I still had the three-hour drive from Atlanta to the home of the Trojans. Can't complain about the roads; as flat and low-traffic as they were, 60-65mph was not uncommon even off the interstate.

But the capper for the night was the size of my point-reserved room at the Days Inn. To describe it as "double-wide" would not take into account that it was also probably double-long. (Or to put it another way, my apartment would fit inside the room.)

It's just a shame that the internet was down.
