I found myself liking Sirius a lot more after the movie. My interpretation of the book had him just generally very pissy and annoying in book 5, whereas Gary Oldman's version was more... depressed and defeated than whiny and annoying. Felt a brief tugging of "oh god, he's getting into my head now", but I don't think it took. Not the first time, anyway...
Lupin's facial hair is much improved. I still don't picture him with facial hair at all, but the addition of a scruffy pseudo-beard is a huge improvement over caterpillar mustache. HUGE improvement. I was bigly not into the stupid thing he had in PoA.
I believe I already mentioned I do not like Helena Bonham Carter. However the guy who plays Lucius Malfoy is pretty much perfect.
I have a really, really hard time finding their Fudge in any way as infuriating as in the books, seeing as he is SIEGFRIED, and always will be. (Dude, they need to give a part to Peter Davison in the next movie - then the circle of Doctor Who - Harry Potter - All Creatures will be complete!)
Also, a phrase I heard on what was essentially an hour long trailer for the movie on Sunday: "Olympic level ninja wanding" - is made of win.
