A really great entry in the new canon of Jane. A woman approaching 40 decides to date according to the great Jane's rules (in her mind). Very well-written, with an extremely likeable protagonist.

Book 4: Betrayal of the Blood Lily by Lauren Willig

The latest in Willig's Pink Carnation series. Excellent as always! This one follows Henrietta's friend Penelope to India, where she gets involved with an officer in the East India Company Army. Book 21: Elizabeth: Struggle for the Throne by David Starkey
A return to indulging the Tudor-mania I succumbed to last summer. I really enjoyed Starkey's Wives of Henry VIII, and his Elizabeth biography is also great.
