Reasons why Kotaki Nozomu is great
A large baby. According to me. He's a handful. Sleeps a lot. The person who demands the most attention. That part's cute (laughs). We have a 9-year difference. He has a strong feeling of a little brother. And he's obedient. There are times where he'll sulk a bit, but he'll immediately accept it. In his private time, when he asks "where do you recommend getting clothes?" and someone tells him where to go, he'll properly wear clothes from there. I've recommended clothes to him. At work, he's a moodmaker. His excitement goes up before work starts. When we're traveling in the car, he entertains us (laughs). After all, he's good at talking! Also, his mind moves quickly. Nozomu will say really funny things, and I'll counter them all; it makes me feel like my mind is getting faster.
Nakama Junta
He's the youngest, so when we debuted, I think it was most tiring for him. Right now, he'll say "I'm okay," but in 10 years or so, I think he'll say "actually, it was tiring" (laughs). That's not a complaint though. I think it's amazing that he has a position where everyone spoils him equally. He's good at showing his own way, and even when he's busy, he's studying English. It's great he does things because he likes them. His mind is pretty easygoing. He's approachable. Because Nozomu is aggressive, he breaks through people's shells and gets through to them. To a pretty good place (laughs). There are times where he overdoes it, but he'll usually stop beforehand. He has good control of being the youngest child. Because he's here, Johnny's WEST is made, that's what I feel.
Kiriyama Akito
His kind parts. The parts of him that think of others. The parts of him that don't take things too seriously. For example, when we meet up, he'll buy juice, and hand it over with "here". He's doing something to guys that would make a girl fall in love with him immediately if he did it to her (laughs). He's a gentleman. He has a wonderful personality, as his kindness towards family always appears. In terms of work, when he's looking forward, he doesn't think about turning back."It's like me", he'll say.He was born with that interesting character of his. All of the things he fires off naturally are interesting. Whether it be his family or his friends, Kotaki's relationships are good, so he has good luck with his relationship skills. He does all of his work with feeling. His insolent side is also cute.
Hamada Takahiro
I consider him the most decisive. I think it's the most amazing thing. He's self-assured and he also doesn't get nervous. He does everything naturally without worrying about it. That is extremely important. When he does something silly, he doesn't wonder "will it appeal to others?" He probably does things with a power level close to 100. And in singing, even if Kotaki is out of tune, he'll keep going. Also, he has "a child-like kindness". He's immediately moved when something small happens. Even in "Ikujani!", when he saw Akito crying, he started crying as well. But in terms of his emotional aspects, there are few waves of his negative ones. He doesn't get mad very often, and he's able to stop and think right before he does. He has a gentle heart.
Shigeoka Daiki
He has an exceptionally childish temperament. Even though he has such a large body, and he's got a strong impact, he's spoiled, and he's seriously a big baby (laughs)! If I lie down in the dressing room, he'll be like "excuse me!" and sit on my butt. He's strong towards Hama-chan (laughs). His self-assured nature is amazing. His ability to say "I'm not nervous at all" is admirable~. He also comes straight for me. When we're next to each other on stage, he'll cover my face with his elbows, and step on my feet. A lot of his entanglements are painful. If we walk before him and leave him out, he'll be like "what the heck". He does it moderately (laughs). And then, he likes cleanliness! When I'm with Non-chan in the dressing room, he's really clean. Generally, he won't let anything fall on the floor.
Kamiyama Tomohiro
For me, he's probably like a hometown friend. A hometown friend that joined Johnny's. Basically, we are freestyling free-spirited people. At his age, having an adult-like appearance and sex appeal is amazing. When it comes to talking about the 2 of us working together, it's always about us acting cool. Like, how to make "VIVID" look cool. We'll consider various things, and talk about how to make it the performance surprising for the people watching. When the two of us talk it's quiet. We converse in a relaxed atmosphere. When the other's atmosphere is subtle, we fall silent, but we're even able to be around each other when we're not talking. I also think Nozomu is handsome and cool when I watch him on screen. But on the other hand, I don't think he's cute. Because I don't connect him with being younger than me.
