I spent today and almost all of yesterday asleep, but I am so tired right now I could just crawl back in under the covers and not care if I should ever wake up. --awakened at an ungodly hour (9:00 a.m. after staying up until 2:00 the night before) by yapping brothers and sister who'd driven down from Chicago
--took a raincheck from driving up to Katie at ISU

So it's happened. I am in official rebellion. I have chucked my vampire high school romance and have decided to just continue on with The Grand Project. Despite my planning and outlining and researching of the Russian Revolution, Soviet Famine, Romanian castles, British accents, and canonical vampire lore, it all came to naught. So since we're going at two weeks of consistently cold weather, I thought it was time to finally switch over from my spring/summer wardrobe to my fall/winter one. Unfortunately, with all that's been going on, this process ended up taking about 3/4 days, but at last! It has been done.

I am considering writing a book blog based on the premise of a book being a conversation between the writer and the reader, or perhaps from the perspective of an amateur dissecting pieces as a way to better learn how to write and what pitfalls to avoid concerning prose, plot, characterization, and so on.
