My millionth update today - DINNER
I got an academic award! I recieved the Sarah Frances Bush Scholarship from the History Department. I know Miller had to have nominated me because no one else in the dept has ever had me as a student. Oh but they will next year. watch out history, here I come. Dan also got an award, and Laura! It was overall really exciting, and i laughed a lot at all the nerdy nerdy jokes various professors made. I was a little sad that because it was Givens presenting, we history people didn't get anecdotal little stories or lists of our involvement told about us told while we recieved our awards like a lot of the other people did, but oh well, i'm super proud anyway. Moeller is the most hilarious cake theif. What a wonderful man.
I went to dinner with a bunch of people we dont' usually sit with, like Julia, Heather, Bryan, BC, and Dan! Weird! No, no, i mean the other people at the table like Lucio, Jess, and Andrew. What fabulous company for a fabulous meal. Or, in my case, beef/chocolate cake snack.
