I'm taking a break. About to dive into some Vasari in a minute here.
Just for the record, the University of Iowa library and it's massive collection of bookstacks and rare books kinda turns me on. SO MUCH INCREDIBLE INFORMATION. I got a couple (ok 7) books that will surely help me with my paper - thanks boyfriend with U of I library card.
Notes on last night:
~I shouldn't tease (even slightly) Casey about lindy ANYMORE. He's good at it and i don't give him enough credit.
~it was nice outside, and Jimmy Johns makes a yummy sandwich. disconnected=BOO.
~Gabe's oasis is loud and dark and smokey, but the music is fast and the floor slides (cause it's dirty) and there was room enough to show off. I had an absolute blast. Plus they played "if you wanna be happy" that jamie and I used to laugh to, and "pennies from heaven" that Zach sang in Swingin on a star.
~Firefly is a great show. i'm sad that episode didn't scare Casey like it scared me.
~there's no one on the roads in iowa at 2 am.
~Casey is more comfortable to cuddle with than Bear at night. he said my sheets are soft. Yesssss.
~i can't wait for the UI Swing Festival in APRIL! WHOO!
