DOAS and P-H-A-T-N-O-I-Z!
I am so psyched I've been working so hard this week, cause I feel ok about going to Iowa City today! We're headed off to see the midnight premiere of Casey's film, Diary of a Superhero tonight, and then Phat Noiz at Cornell on Saturday!!!!!!
I have seen the trailer for DOAS more times than I can count and I am so thrilled to finally see all the hard work come together. I hope it's as good as Casey imagines it will be, because he really does hold up this experience as something he was really really proud to have been a part of, and a really important time in his acting career. He's been a little down about acting recently since his next two upcoming roles are rather small don't really excite him at all, which is frustrating to him after the good work he's done here.
I'm so excited to go back to Slick Shoes, especially for something I know will have a nice big successful turnout, because good friends and Sodexho table time aside, I think dancing is what I miss most about Cornell. I hope Casey comes with me for some of it. He and I need to get back into the "swing" of things, so that we look awesome dancing together at our wedding! <3 But I'm mostly excited to go back and chat/dance with everyone! (And not have to set up or tear down after if I don't want to! Though, let's be honest, I probably will anyway.)
PS - I'm jazzed about my new dance userpic - it's the Slick Shoes club logo that we were all obsessed with when it came out on the t-shirts sophomore year! That was the year of the amazing culture show with Daniel Harcey. I heard one of the songs that was part of that mix shopping last week and I wanted to be doing that routine again SOOO bad.
Gotta keep working hard!
