is it wrong to pick a paper topic just cause you thought of a clever potential title?

So I kind of want to do my medieval pottery paper on practical decorations on medieval pottery. Like, for example, Anglo-Saxon pots have vertical strips of clay in relief all along the outside of some of their pots. It is believed that, though pretty, they also help reinforce the structure of the pot to keep it from cracking when it's stressed. I like that! Art with a purpose!

But I didn't really take a shine to the topic until I realized I could work a pun and an alliteration into the potential paper's title. I could title the paper:

"Two Birds, One Stoneware" : Flair and Function in Medieval Decorative Ceramics

Is it wrong to pick a topic for the sake of a mediocre pun and an alliteration?
(Stoneware is a type of pottery, fyi.)
I'll have to ask Professor Finan what he thinks about the topic. I won't mention the title.

pottery, words, medieval, paper
