Weird.
I've started the enormous project that is GUTTING MY CLOSET 2008. I had a great blast from the past going through the HUGE box of stuff in my closet marked "Carmel Stuff" that I haven't opened for 6 years. It was so weird. I think about Carmel rarely, but it really was an important time in my life, especially for my creative side. So much theatre, so much MUSIC (stares at violin lovingly), and oodles of poetry and short stories. I think the arts were a good outlet for me there, because looking back on it, recycling all the work, and reading all the poems, I remember how much pain I was really in. Good thing I had lewd hilarious friends, and lots of art, music, and theatre.
