my busy thursday - in fragmented schedule form.

Jun 14, 2007 00:49

7:10 - Wake up. Get ready for the day.
7:30 - Knock my waffles over and get syrup all over the floor/couch/my pants/my jacket. Swear. Clean up. Apologize to Mom for overreacting.
8:10 - Out the door. Drive to Boulder while listening to new satisfying playlist of songs I'm not sick of yet.
9:05 - Arrive in class and chat with Glenny (who reminds me of Dave Gillam, in that I don't know if I like him or not) and Gavin (whom I know I like).
9:15 - Class begins. Recieve yesterday's quiz. Celebrate inwardly at the 100% - woohoo! Proceed to be baffled by Latin.
10:50 - Leave class. Eat sandwich in the car parked at the meter.
11:00 - Drive to Denver, more playlist.
12:00 - Arrive to find that the $4 lot isn't accepting bills. Frustration ensued, followed by an immediate discovery of another $4 lot directly next to it that IS functioning. Score!
12:05 - Eat apple on bench outside of Colorado Historical Society. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY IT WAS TODAY!!!! Go inside, away from the beautiful day, sign in, and go to my office with no window.
12:06 - Greet Leigh, begin working on the John E. Hill finding aid. Occasionally bother Leigh with a barrage of questions.
2:30 - Finish, to my uber-detailed satisfaction, a brilliant research finding aid for the Mss# 3036 John E. Hill Collection. Bid adieu to the wonderful Iowa documents.
2:35 - Chat with Leigh about what's next. Take break, get lost trying to find the kitchen, find kitchen, eat granola bar. Read a National Geographic article on - get this - the ULU BURUN SHIPWRECK WE LEARNED ABOUT IN GREECE CLASS! Astonishment of all sorts ensued.
3:00 - Finally begin new task. Project: Box of random stuff. Inside I found photos, stock certificates, a scrapbook, mining maps, regular maps, all sorts of cool stuff from about the turn of the century. Look through it all.
4:15 - Show Leigh, ask her if the pictures should go to the photo people or stay with the collection.
4:25 - Leave!
4:30 - get turned around in Denver, as is to be expected, waste 15 minutes.
4:45 - Finally get on Colfax, which was a parking today. Must investigate alternative routes home.
5:30 - Finally get to Sammie's Game. Watch game with Izzy and DB, who was crabby.
6:15 - Leave ballfield. Get home. Eat dinner and watch Friends with Izzy.
6:40 - stare at email and LJ for a little bit.
7:15 - study study study Linguam Latinam.
8:00 - Family returns from double header. Celebrate Dad's birthday with pizza and cake and a present that needs to be exchanged at Best Buy. Stupid technology. Congratulate self for good idea of ipod speakers though, Dad loved them.
8:45 - Return to Latin studying for Quiz 4.
9:00 - Begin homework.
11:45 - Give up on homework. Only completed half of each section, except the last, which I didn't even touch. Get ready for bed.
12:00 - Call Casey and GO TO BED to do it all over again tomorrow!

If I don't go dancing soon my soul will shrivel.
