Home!
And finally, we made it home! What a journey...
First, we were faced with a baggage strike in Sydney which delayed our plane in Noumea. I was stuck in the very basic ,very tiny airport ( sans aircon !!!) with Josh for abt 4 hours! There he was running in and out, purposefully dashing into the forbiddened areas or dirty piles of dried leaves.... and there I was chasing after him and trying to keep an eye on my hand luggage which was too heavy to lug around. + I was having a splitting headache as it was hot and dry. Man, it was nasty!!!
And so we only had half a day in Sydney effectively .. but we had a good time. Praise the Lord
and now... we're home!! Sg hasn't changed much in 6 months but man, it's nice to be home!! Of cos I had my teh siew dai for brekkie, with the peanut cake thingy from the coffee shop. Yumms....
oki, must sort out my social calendar now ( and food must-eat list)!
