SVT3 The Haunted House
I have a thing for re-recapping.
Ugh, my version of this book came out during the SVT-covers-era when the twins were given bright yellow hair and shiny pink skin. Those days were hard on all of us. Especially poor Nora Mercandy, treated like dirt by all. Especially* by the cover artist, who felt compelled to include that evil green mist.
*By which I mean especially Lila, who is awful in this book.
YES THAT'S RIGHT, A VIDEO RECAP! I've been meaning to do this for a really really long time. Took years off my life, it did!

Jess and Liz on set! As you would expect, Jessica was a total pain to work with. Wouldn't do what I asked. Arms and legs never stayed in the right place. But it could have been worse!
Maybe Ned and Alice would have been better parents if they'd tried this. I'm not sure exactly how "this" translates into actual parenting, but it couldn't have made them worse parents.
A sea of disembodied heads!! And some limbs. And Ellen Riteman, in pieces.
It's almost like my carpet is saying dialogue! Also visible: my rough and scrappy storyboard, and my knee!
