It's been a while since I've posted, so I shall present to you all... read the title, will you?

AUNT #1: Your first semester.
AUNT #2: But how many of those games were sober?

AUNT #1: What's that?
FATHER: It's a drinking game.
SELF: [who as you all know is a minor] Sounds like fun!
AUNT #1: It's not!
FATHER: Diamonds is trump. So it goes 9 of diamonds, 10 of diamonds, queen of diamonds, king of diamonds, ace of diamonds, jack of hearts, and jack of diamonds.
SELF: Wait, what is the jack of hearts doing there? He's a heart! This is diamonds! [beat] Does he have something going on with the queen of diamonds?
MY YOUNGER BROTHER: [to me] I'm older than you.
ASSASSIN (in a video game): My resolutions? Hmmm... Weapons. I'm going to collect weapons. You can never have too many of the things, you know.
HERO (of a video game): You're narci... sissy... you're full of yourself!
FRIEND #1: Face it, [1angelette], all of us are going to hell. [Friend #2] is Jewish, [Friend #3] is a Protestant, you're an atheist, and I masturbated four nights in a row over winter break...
Also,
it has recently occurred to me: Why do anti-H/G people insist Harry likes Ginny SOLELY for her appearance? Come on, there are several things about her which he could like and still be shallow about it...
She plays Quidditch.
She's "not weepy".
She's funny. [Even if YOU think it's mean, Harry thinks it's funny.]
He's known her for several years.
They hung out during the summer of HBP... and most of OOTP,.
I'm starting to wonder if Harry's the one being shallow here, or if the ARGHers may perhaps be projecting their own ideas onto Harry a bit. Have any of you ever heard of the concept that a woman's only virtue is her appearance...?
(No offense is intended towards any Harry/Ginny- or Ginny-bashers reading this friendspage. You all have your reasons. I respect them. In some cases, I even agree with them. I never think about these things too much before I submit them, you know.)
