Condom Math and Other Thoughts

So, lately for my story it has occurred to me that I should have done the math on the probability. Mostly because it makes an awesome little B/R scene.

Barney has been a manwhore for about ten years.
He has probably (on average) done one girl a day in that time, probably unique ones.
That's about 4000 girls.
Condoms don't work 1% of the time and are neglected to be worn 1% of the time, so one in fifty of those girls might have gotten pregnant, which leaves eighty girls.
If we assume the same 1/1 rate for birth control, that leaves 1.6 women which Barney probably impregnated. .6 got an abortion or miscarriage in all probability, but one woman is left.
So that means that maybe - nay, possibly - Barney is a father.

Of course, the Rule of Drama must be imposed - viz., if it's dramatic, it's cooler. Like, "two guys like the same girl and one of them is dating her; the other guy thinks that's cool" -- no, that doesn't happen on TV. JEALOUSY happens on TV, regardless of the tempraments of the people involved. Likewise, if you know that Barney has almost definitely got some little cute kid running around, you give that kid to poor old Robin.

How could you tell that I am totally putting this into my fanfic? *bats eyelashes*

On another note, this recently happened:
FATHER: *reading over my shoulder* She was the most legendary woman in the universe.
SELF: Oh, yes, that's the woman he loves.
FATHER: Not the most typical term. "She's so legendary."
