Quick update.
Okay. Done with The Green and The Grey, most of the way through Oryx and Crake. Also waiting for Dance with Dragons (in OMG5DAYS!). Books books books.
This morning I washed dishes, slightly overboiled a few eggs, changed the kitchen garbage, vacuumed the living room and hallway, and swept the kitchen and dining room. And got dressed and showered all that jazz too, of course.
Busy busy busy. This month I am going to be working about 45 to 50 hours a week...which means no (or not much) taekwondo, and a lot of exhaustion. Oh well. Paychecks will be lovely.
Jon's paternal grandfather died yesterday. It was pretty expected; apparently his grandma and grandpa stayed up all night together talking and holding each other, and he was in a lot of pain and said "I want to go, Bev", and she was like "Okay". (Cue sobs, cause damn.) So the funeral should be this weekend, and we'll be going into Green Bay for it.
Anywho. Off to the salt mines. The tea mines? Yes. The tea mines.
