If my computer seems slow, it's because I'm downloading a kids' show on iTunes.

This is how sad my life is: the highlight of my day today was my mom witnessing Yo Gabba Gabba! and calling Muno a "giant orange penis."

Actually, a better highlight of my day would be how well Justin Masterson pitched today. I was looking forward to seeing Justin the sinkerballer pitch in that incredibly hitter-friendly park, and the results do ( Read more... )

(Note to self: add JD Drew, Jason Castro, and Cord Phelps to "loves of my life" list. Also, "Tekotte" sounds a LOT like "Tacoby," as I'm finding out. Seriously: "Tekotte makes the catch in center...")

Of my three closest friends, one had a dentist appointment today and the other two went on a double date to the movies with their boyfriends. Single little baseball-obsessed me? I was really tempted to say I was going to Philly with "Rick," for my part.

Wow. "Ya-deer" Molina? EPSN pisses me off.

(...that is not a bad idea. I may need to add them, too, especially with Castro's nice catch a few innings ago.)

I wouldn't be above saying that, either. I should start telling people that "Jed and I are going" somewhere just to see what they say.

They can't say "Fukudome," either. Ugh.

(Yay, another insurance run!)

It was the catch (not to mention the attempted pickoff at second... too bad he wasn't out) that cemented it. Holy crap the man is crazy.

Rick wasn't really that great, by the way. He had a lot of trouble throwing strikes, poor guy. I think he got off easy with just the few runs.

I had a cosK moment during my math final today! I cracked up silently. For about five minutes. Heh.

(Yay! Smart kids ftw!)

He is simply fantastic. I'm watching him bat right now, actually. (Also, the first thing I noticed about him was that he wears the same number that Donny Freaking Lucy wore at Stanford. I am lame.)

I noticed he only had one strikeout on the ESPN ticker - it surprised me! I imagine that he had the groundouts working, though...did he?

...I probably would have, too. I don't blame you for that at all.

(I really can't believe this game - it's just insane!)

She also said Foofa was on drugs. It was hilarious.

...I can see that. After all, she is a little too happy sometimes. And she likes picking flowers...maybe flowers are an euphemism for drugs (a similar argument is used for Chitose by Tenipuri fans)!

But the sad part is that she thinks Brobee is annoying! I told her Brobee was the fan favorite and she didn't understand why.

I wonder if those flowers are poppies...hmm.

Javier Lopez batting was comedy at its finest. I wonder if he made a bet with Mike Lowell that if he gets a hit, he writes as his fanfic alter-ego about Lowell and Cora and if he fails he does him and Delcarmen....because these are the things I think about. Also I have a feeling Lowell and Cora dryly were saying "Not as easy as it looks, huh Studlicious?" and then get weird looks from everybody else.

Awww, man, I wish I'd been able to see it! Was it funnier than the way Colon was swinging Monday night? (Well, except for the getting hurt part. That wasn't very funny.)

If he actually did make that bet, it would be fantastic. And Studlicious, yes! I still can't see him without thinking of that...and I laugh every single time.
