Whining about the writing process.

Nov 15, 2010 20:06

I just had an epiphany about why I'm such a slow writer - I always feel like it has to be perfect the first time around. I just realized that I don't need to agonize about word choice quite as much as I do. It's not like I can't change it later.

It's kind of a freeing realization.

I just googled motels for the town I'm sending Sam and Dean in my help_pakistan, just to make sure there are motels there, and although I am not going to mention it by name in the story, I seriously came up with the BEST RESPONSE EVER. Seriously, the reviews for this place are SO BAD it makes me want to go there just to see it with my own eyes.

Adult Motel - Very Unsafe

Do not stay here ever especially with children. This is a very bad area and not secure at all. Locks on doors are broken, no towels, no cable like they tell you. The couch in the room was seat from a van. The seatbelts were still on it. No hot water or water pressure. This is an adults motel...they actually make you sign a consent to stay here that you are over 18 and you know there is sexually explicit things going on. I repeat do not stay here. I had no other choice because everything in the area was booked. Very very unsafe. We had to check outside every 30 minutes to make sure the car was still there. Very bad experience. also the phones don't work. How convenient.

Best Place ever

This was the coolest motel I ever stayed at. Seriously, it was awesome. I highly recommend it to anyone who is at peace with themselves and really wouldn't mind dying at any moment.

Oh yeah, that's where Sam and Dean are going.

writing is hard
