It's 71 degrees right now. (That's 22C for my poor benighted friends who don't have the good fortune of being American.)
HOW IS THIS HAPPENING.
ETA: There's a little girl next door who's learning to play the flute. I've heard her a few times getting out Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle Twinkle. I think I've mentioned this, but I am a flutist, and was really really serious about music up until I was in college. Like, I went to music camp every summer for years, and practiced every day, and was first chair for two years in high school, and got a music scholarship from my high school. Being a musician was my THING (not that I ever thought I would be a professional or anything like that though), although eventually I kind of gave it up because I developed pretty bad TMJ and too much playing would result in my jaw locking up.
Anyway, I still have my flute and everything and I really want to go over and teach this little girl! She's probably in the school music program but I doubt she's had much personal attention.
But I don't know her at all. It'd be super creepy, I bet.
Now she's playing Jingle Bells. It's so cute!
