I just had an epiphany about why I'm such a slow writer - I always feel like it has to be perfect the first time around. I just realized that I don't need to agonize about word choice quite as much as I do. It's not like I can't change it later

I think it's going to be a running joke in the story that Sam wants to go to another hotel but Dean thinks the van seat couch is cool and keeps putting it off.

Um, this isn't anywhere in Indiana is it? Because that sounds vaguely like this motel in my town... it's condemned now and I think about to be torn down, but it was open for much longer after it should've been. There's some ridiculous horror stories about it out there too, I'm sure.

In other news, I was talking to my grandmother on the phone this weekend and I mentioned you at some point. Her reaction: "Yes, I remember. You went to Paris to buy her salt with that actor's picture on it."
