It's 71 degrees right now. (That's 22C for my poor benighted friends who don't have the good fortune of being American.)

HOW IS THIS HAPPENING.

ETA: There's a little girl next door who's learning to play the flute. I've heard her a few times getting out Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle Twinkle. I think I've mentioned this, but I am a flutist ( Read more... )

Well, I can only imagine what it would be like to not be American, but it's all dark and cold in my imagination.

It is not like being 71 degrees and sunny if you are American. In my America it's below freezing and there's 3" of snow (after 7" melted) left on the ground.

We've split the difference: it's 70 degrees but rainy and wet. Ah, Texas.

Re: flute girl -- Play your flute back at her! :) She would probably get a big kick out of it and then it gives you a conversational opener if you see them in person.
