One of Jeb Cain's favorite toys was a red truck. One he wasn't supposed to play with. But, he had ways of sneaking the truck off the shelf, playing with it and putting it back. His mother never knew, of course, because, at five annuals, he was just that good.
Of course, if he was better, Jeb would have noticed that the truck was slowly being moved from the higher shelves to the lower. This had more to do with his mother not wanting him to climb all over the furniture.
She'd rather he break the truck than his neck.
